Everybody is Kung Fu Fighting, While I Started a Farm

Chapter 440: Is There A Problem With My Cultivation?

Chapter 440: Is There A Problem With My Cultivation?

Jiang He started planting the mutated ginseng seeds in his farm.

Aside from that, he still had mountain piles of immortal crystals which roughly numbered over five million, and his loot was worth almost ten million immortal crystals if the mystic treasures, rarities, medicinal pellets, as well as other times were counted in.

“I could think of a way to exchange those mystic treasures, rarities, and medicinal pellets for immortal crystals... after all, it is easy to plant and harvest immortal crystals.”

“I could consider upgrading my farm after farming around three to five hundred billion Farm Points... Eh?”

Suddenly, Jiang He froze where he was as if thunderstruck.

He remembered.

To level up his farm, he needed the corpses of immortal Gods and Demons.

He did manage to get a lot of corpses from both races, but all of them were beneath the level of immortals... as for those above, every last one had escaped with the White Sky God King and Modolo.

Jiang He did not notice it before, and had only remembered it when he needed the corpses of the Gods and Demons.

Most of the corpses he had in time were True Immortals and Heavenly Immortals of lesser races anyway, and there were not many True Immortals and Heavenly Immortals from the God or Demon race.

And when Modolo as well as the White Sky God King escaped, they brought along every immortals from their race.

As such, that was why Jiang He had truckloads of God and Demon corpses, none of which were immortals.

Rubbing his temples, there was a feeble look on Jiang He’s face and he smiled bitterly, “Sigh... it’s all my fault. I was obsessed with dealing the bother that is the Hundred Races Alliance that I completely forgot about leveling up my farm. I could have killed a few immortals from the God and Demon race any time I wanted otherwise.”

“Still, there is no urgent need for this.”

“I’ve learnt teleporting, and I could personally go to the Gods’ world myself soon.

As the thought occurred to him, Boa Hancock entered the farm and said charmingly, “Master, dinner is ready.”

“Alright, you can go. I’ll be right there.”

Since they had returned home, dinner was naturally served in the mansion outside the farm.

Jiang He stepped up, returned inside the mansion, and washed his hands. However, he was about to have dinner when a car horn rang from outside—Cheng Dongfeng had arrived in an offroad vehicle.

He was carrying a large pile of presents.

Jiang He, however, frowned.

This dog, coming expressly to give him presents?

Could he be thinking about freeloading dinner?

Before the thought could occur to Jiang He, Cheng Dongfeng laughed out loud, “Are you having dinner, Grand-master? Ah... I shouldn’t have eaten earlier if I had known.”

He placed the presents on the ground with a look of suffering and said through clenched teeth, “Still, If I could accompany you, Grand-master, so what if I eat three more bowls?”

Jiang He was dumbstruck.

His face turned dark instantly.

What the h*ll...

Just say that you want to eat. Why do you have to sound so pompous?

Most importantly, what was with that helpless look on your face?

Does it hurt you to give me presents?

That Old Tea Leaf of Enlightenment I had given you is worth planets and more, let alone some paltry presents. And you are still acting all reluctant over it?

Still, seeing that Cheng Dongfeng was utterly unabashed and had already picked up bowl and chopsticks to pinch his rice, Jiang He mused to himself for a while before advising, “That cup of tea that I had left in your office earlier today is incredible. A single Old Tea Leaf of Enlightenment is precious even for Grand Luo, so cherish it and do not leave it to waste.”

“While martial arts had no future before, Minister Wang has now cleared a sky-piercing Dao, so you could consider continuing on that path.”

Jiang He naturally could see that Cheng Dongfeng had cultivated immortal arts as well, thought he was only a fifth-tier Qi Refinist without much hope of progress. It was less impressive than his martial arts cultivation, though there was a problem that was not resolved to date for martial arts...

The tiers of martial arts were not all that clear.

In martial arts, the ranks above rank-nine were divine-tier, followed by Void-tier and Zero-Void. Those groupings were fine since rank-nine in martial arts was equal to a rank-nine Qi Refinist, whereas divine-tier was equal to Golden Pellet, Void-tier to True Child, and Zero-Void to Yuan Spirit.

The tiers above Zero-Void, however, was a little ridiculous.

The rank above, Paragon, could match a Mahayana elite.

Ascending to that level meant a hundredfold increase in combat ability, which meant that the difficulty was also greater.

Wang Hou had only reached Paragon in martial arts after cultivating for a hundred years in the Star Map, and it was thanks to Jiang He’s Old Tea Leaf of Enlightenment and untold troves of resources that he had finally gained his present accomplishments.

Indeed, Wang Hou’s accomplishments could not be replicated.

Aside from his resources and providence, he was basically a chosen one.

Still, with his current level of abilities, it would not be difficult for him refine and simplify martial arts instruction.

While Jiang He thought about that, Cheng Dongfeng had eaten three bowls of rice in one go.

His body shuddered after he finished eating, a look of shock appearing in his face as he exclaimed in surprise, “Grand-master Jiang He... your rice actually has the function of clearing excess elements in the body?”

He could clearly feel what was happening to his body.

Jiang He smiled. “This is a rank-nine spirit grain called Dragoontooh Rice. I had gone through great lengths to modify it from mutated rice, so it’s naturally extraordinary.”

Rising to his feet, Cheng Dongfeng said, “Thanks for your treat, Grand-master Jiang He. I need to clear out my body now to work with its effect, so I won’t be staying for a chat.”

With that, he left in a hurry.

Jiang He, however, shook his head and smiled.

That dog Cheng Dongfeng was really thick-skinned.

Still, it was precisely because he was thick-skinned that he managed to benefit a lot from Jiang He’s kindness, improving his cultivation by leaps and bounds to near Paragon in martial arts.

Back then, Duan Tianhe had reached rank-seven much earlier than Cheng Dongfeng, but Duan Tianhe had not progressed up to divine-tier even now.

After dinner, Jiang He teleported to Lingzhou City in a flash.

He called Wang Siyu out for a date, strolling the streets and then giving her some presents...

She was now a powerful True Child and her entire body was overflowing with a special Immortal Dao. Likewise, her aura was drastically different.

Jiang He could not help being surprised.

He had given Wang Siyu a huge load of martial arts resources before, but it took her a long time to weather the Four Lesser Retributions of the Nine Heavens and reach divine-tier in martial arts.

After she changed to immortal arts, it did not take her much time to quickly reach True Child—it was clear that her disposition was outstanding.

And the special Dao he sensed from Wang Siyu’s body was...

“Innate Spirit Form?”

As the thought occurred to Jiang He, he asked, “Wang Siyu, did you notice anything out of the ordinary when you cultivated?”

She thought about it and nodded seriously, “For some reason, I keep feeling that my cultivation progress is very quick and I am very sensitive towards Spirit Qi. I had never experienced anything like that when I trained in martial arts.”

“Oh, right!”

Pausing, Wang Siyu added, “Ever since I started cultivating, the plants that my mother were growing had grown much quicker, and all the plants around the neighborhood were basically sprouting wildly once I ascended as a True Child.”

“I also tested it out in the wildlands, and it seems that the aura that flows out when I cultivate induces growth in plants.”

Wang Siyu’s voice become smaller and she asked fearfully, “Am I going astray, Jiang He?”

Pfft!

Jiang He could not help chuckling and replied, “You’re not going astray. If I’m not mistaken, you must be an Innate Spirit Body which has a wood-element tendency.”

Two days passed in the blink of an eye.

In outer space, the many immortals led by the Eight Immortals had finally arrived nearby where Mars once was.

Lü Dongbin checked his star map to the vast and empty space before sighing. “Mars... how prosperous has this former relay station to our homeworld been? I myself had picked up an immortal treasure fragment from one of the cities on the planet... but it’s gone now!”

It was not just Lü Dongbin either—the many immortals were all feeling emotional.

Some among them had left the homeworld for thousands of years.

Even the ones who left the homeworld most recently had been away for more than two thousand years.

Iron Crutch Li then said, “This is not the place to speak, everyone. We shall return to the homeworld first.”

In the headquarters of the Martial Arts Department of Jingdu City, Wang Hou was sitting cross-legged in meditation within his training room with a pale face, muttering bitterly, “Jiang He has misunderstood me... mentally worn, my foot. A minor injury that would be fine after some sleep? I’ve slept for two days and nights but my condition has not improved at all, and it actually feels worse now.”
