Chapter 887 Raziel's Law Of Concordance
Feeling the eye of the Angel upon my back, a masked killing intent traced over my neck. I could feel this Angel\'s fury, alongside his disdain towards me. The look of scorn had said it all. But what had seemed to set this one off seemed to be my unruly words.
I\'ve not researched the effects of Raziel\'s new Law of Concordance but sensing the ruthless killing intent. I felt those ordinary base Angels were now overbearing, which seemed almost counterintuitive to what the original Law of Concordance represents.
There was something off; even the day I tried to eat one of them, only to spit one of them up. It\'s not just their tainted souls twisted beyond recognition, but their very bodies.
The Angel parted his legs and prepared himself while the others took a step back, "You will follow me, even if that means I sever your two legs."
My fingers twitch and from the cold dark void of Darkness. A blade emerged within the palm of my hand, glistering a cold light. The edge was but an everyday sword without any indescribable features, but as I began to use it more these past hundred years, my Intent had begun to change the very nature of this blade.
The Concept of Intent was so much more than I could ever believe. I\'ve always looked down on most Heavenly Dao, as Mortal Dao was unruly and without restrictions. But the more I began to use Intent, the more I understood how my pride had gotten, the better of me.
Darkness, Lightning, Fire, and Illusions were all Heavenly Dao. Still, I\'ve constantly been adding various mortal dao aspects to them to enhance their power, such as the seven sins or the Dao of Devils\' hearts.
I narrowed my eyes and turned to look at the fool courting death. Laws began to recede as I smiled, just as cracks began to crackle like thunder beneath my feet, " Send me to the gallows if you can. But by the Nines, my blade shall taste Angel\'s blood. "
"Xentrix, the slave has words! Upon my blade, allow I, Levon Selroymal, to claim his life," The one standing near Xentrix uttered with a looming grin upon his boney face. His near hollow eyes seemed almost ghoulish, yet in a way graceful.
"I shall not permit this," Zanta uttered, about to take a step forward, but my palm came close, stopping him in his tracks, as did the arms of his guardsmen that had appeared a little earlier.
"Mr. Blackwater, Her ladyship already knows and is rushing back." One of them uttered, assuming I could not slaughter the lot before me.
It would be easy, though. Simply based upon these angels\' stance reveals a king base battle prowess, which is commendable for mere foot soldiers. But I was a Godking; even if my power has diminished to only ten percent, battle prowess only drops when the soul or qi is damaged beyond repair.
But it\'s odd to see foot soldiers with such high battle prowess.
My eyes narrowed, and a half smile marred my lips, dimming the glow of this new sun. A ghoulish bloodlust erupted from the tip of my blade, pushing everyone back in an explosion of absolute dominance.
"Congrats, gentleman, you\'ve reached the final boss. Who wants to die first?" I asked, feeling like an evil villain.
"Raz\'s beard! You!" Xentrix barked, creating an angelic field around him as he eyed me with a look of both amazement and disgust.
"I\'m still injured, so I can\'t play with my food, but it\'s fine; after I kill you, I\'ll go see that stupid bitch whose courting death. I might just sell her into slavery as a cockhold of sorts. It might just teach her children a lesson as well." I said as I moved, cloaked by the Dao of Illusions and the Darkness. I left a clone of myself behind as I shadow-stepped behind Levon.
According to Bael, that seemed to have an actual guide to Dao; I was in the Replicant stage, fast approaching the stage of forging.
The Stage of Forging was meant to capture all my heart work through replicant, where I created my version of the dao using old properties. The Stage of Forging threw out those old properties and fully turned the dao into my creation.
These angels, however, were definitely in the Stages of Forging, and it was amazing despite being far weaker than me. While also sharing the cultivation of Empyrean, they surpassed me in grasping the elements. However, none of them were proficient in the laws of illusions.
I should learn how to mind fuck people by pointing my finger, like Itachi. That motherfucker is a beast! RIP! You were the best thing that anime had to offer.
Emerging from the shadows like a Demon of the Night, my sword stole the light, reaping the soul flame without regard; I stole Levon\'s head as my palm collided against Xentrix\'s spine, shattering it alongside a few of his other organs.
Blood spilled out in, but an instant as my blade prepared to block a few other sword strokes coming my way with precise ease.
"LEVON!!!!" The angels howled, but without regard for his fallen mate, I dashed forward, dancing through the incoming spells and sword strokes filled with a tainted Seraphic Qi spilling from each attack. When all of a sudden, an explosion filled my sight, pushing me back as some of my bones shuttered. Destroying the training grounds, I frowned and glanced at Zanta, who was protected by several High Gods.
"You\'re going to pay!" Xentrix cried, with scarlet red eyes filled with tears. "You\'ll pay for what you did to Levon!"
"Hmm, we\'ll see."
Spreading his grey tips wings, a sea of seraphic fire filled my sights as a holy pillar pierced into the skies, banishing my Intent that darkened the skies.
My feet parted, and my brow creased as I felt an odd aura beginning to be released.
It was familiar.
Bearing down upon me, as he soared up into the skies, Xentrix, who was using Qi to keep his spine together, began to release the Concept of Death.
My heart trembled as I backed away in a hurry as a vicious aura began to spread out. The other two angels also began to release other concepts.
"Severance and Protection? Interesting," I remarked, staring at the lineup that may prove to be rather formidable.
